Privacy Policy
Gaurava is a private, local-first treatment tracker for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. This policy explains, in plain language, what happens to your information. The short version: it stays with you.
Everything you enter in Gaurava is stored on your own device and, if you choose, synced only through your personal Apple iCloud account. The developer does not run any servers for your data, cannot see your data, and does not use analytics, tracking, or advertising of any kind.
Who provides Gaurava
Gaurava is developed and published by Nagarajan Natarajan (the “developer”). Questions about this policy can be sent to support@gaurava.app.
Information Gaurava stores
Gaurava lets you record personal health and treatment information, for example your weight, injection doses and schedule, injection-site rotation, daily notes, and how you feel. You enter this yourself. It is written to a private database on your device using Apple’s on-device storage (SwiftData / Core Data).
There is no account to create and no sign-up. Gaurava does not ask for your name, email, or phone number.
iCloud sync (optional, and private to you)
If you are signed in to iCloud and have it enabled, Gaurava keeps your data in sync across your own Apple devices using your private CloudKit database inside your personal Apple iCloud account. This means:
- Your data lives in your iCloud account, not on any server operated by the developer.
- Only you, signed in with your Apple ID, can read it. The developer has no access to it and cannot retrieve it.
- Apple’s handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy and your iCloud terms.
- To coordinate this sync, Apple’s servers may send your devices silent background notifications. These contain no readable health content.
Gaurava works fully offline. If you never enable iCloud, your data simply stays on the single device.
What Gaurava does not do
- No analytics, telemetry, crash-reporting, or usage tracking.
- No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
- No third-party SDKs that collect data, and no data brokers.
- No selling, renting, or sharing of your information. There is nothing collected to sell.
- No tracking of you across other apps or websites.
Photos and exports
If you choose to save a progress “share card” image or generate a clinician PDF report, Gaurava writes that file where you tell it to, for example your Photos library (with your permission) or via the iOS share sheet to a destination you pick. Nothing is uploaded to the developer. You control whether and with whom you share these files.

Your control and deletion
You can edit or delete any entry inside the app at any time. Deleting the app removes its on-device data from that device. Data held in your private iCloud is managed through your Apple ID. You can remove the app’s iCloud data from Settings on your device, or sign out of iCloud, at any time. Because the developer holds none of your data, there is nothing for the developer to delete on your behalf.
Children
Gaurava is intended for adults managing their own treatment and is not directed at children.

Gaurava is a personal tracking tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always follow the guidance of your qualified healthcare provider.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date. Material changes will be reflected in the app’s release notes where appropriate.
